After a two-year hiatus Bury Beer Festival is returning to The Met, bigger and better than ever, and under a new name.

The festival will continue to celebrate Bury’s great independent breweries and their contribution to Greater Manchester’s vibrant beer scene. Brewsmith, Brightside, Deeply Vale, Irwell Works, Rammy Craft and Silver Street Brewing Co will all have their own bars, alongside a wide range of guest ales from across the region. Pennine Brewing from North Yorkshire will be returning to give us a Trans-Pennine feel, and first-timers Tin Head Brewing from (just) over the Bury/Bolton border will also be joining us.

It isn’t just beer this year; we’ll also have a specialist Gin bar run by the good people at Kwoff, with the chance to meet some of the area’s boutique distillers of premium gins.

There will be live music across the two days of the festival, and food fresh from the kitchen of Automatic. With a focus on so much local talent in food, drink and music, we’re calling the whole festival Homegrown. Spread the word.

Keep an eye out here and on the festival facebook page for further announcements about food, music, and beer.
