As part of the branch 50th Anniversary Year celebrations, a presentation to the Ring O' Bells, St. Leonards Square, Middleton to celebrate the pub having been included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 23 years in total, out of the 50 years that the Rochdale, Oldham and Bury Branch has been in existance.

The committee is also holding a meeting there that evening (7.30pm) and the presentation will take place during the evening at a time to be agreed with the licensee who is unlikely to be available before 9pm due to a prior engagement.
