Nationally, CAMRA makes a number of Awards each year, and these are detailed on the CAMRA Awards Timeline.
Our Branch presents Awards each year for the following:-
Pub of the Year (POTY) for each of the three townships of Rochdale, Oldham and Bury.

Cider Pub of the Year (Cider POTY)
ROB Pub of the Year results for 2026 were announced in February 2026.
Overall Rochdale Oldham and Bury POTY: Fox and Pine, Oldham This is the 5th year running that they have topped the scores for overall POTY!

Branch Cider Pub of the Year 2026
Cider Pub of the Year 2026 - Winner - Our Gracie’s
Our Gracie’s in Rochdale town centre won the Branch Cider Pub of the Year competition for 2026. The presentation of the award took place on Friday 15th May 2026 at 3pm. Pictured presenting the award to Manager, Kieron, is Mike Robinson our Branch Cider and Perry Rep, and Deputy Chair.
Overall Branch Pub of the Year 2026
Winner - Fox and Pine, Oldham
The Fox and Pine in Oldham won the overall Branch Pub of the Year competition for 2026. The presentation of the award took place on Tuesday 12th March 2026 at 7.30pm. Pictured presenting the award to Chris Riley, is Peter Alexander our Branch Chair.
Overall Branch Pub of the Year 2025
The Oldham Pub of the Year for 2025 is the Fox and Pine. They were also crowned overall Pub of the Year for the whole Branch, for the fourth year running!. Even better news followed for this fine establishment, when they were also judged to be Winner of Pub of The Year for the Greater Manchester Area. As such they went through to the next round but, alas, that was where the POTY competition ended for them,…Better luck next year. And let’s not overlook the fact that the pub also won overall Cider Pub of the Year for the Branch. Presentations of three award certificates were made by Mike Robinson, Deputy Chair.

Bury Pub of the Year 2025 - Joint Winner - Irwell Works Brewery Tap, Ramsbottom

Bury Pub of the Year 2025 - Joint Winner - Broad St Social, Bury
Andy Cooper is pictured presenting the Award to Jenny Smith, who runs the Broad St Social bar with husband, James. (Last year, they won this award outright!). They serve guest ales as well as beers from their very own Brewsmith Brewery.
Rochdale, Town Cider Pub of the Year 2025 - Winner - Our Gracie’s
Our Gracie’s in Rochdale town centre was runner-up in the Branch Cider Pub of the Year competition, but proudly took the crown as Rochdale Town Cider Pub of the Year 2025. The presentation of the award took place on Saturday 19th April at 3pm. Pictured presenting the award to Manager, Kieron, is Mike Robinson our Branch Cider and Perry Rep, and Deputy Chair.
