The Clarence reopened in Oct 2025 following a 3year closure.The ground floor contains the main bar and features original chequered floor tiles. The pub is now fully independent, and the intention is to source beers from a wide range of small local breweries. The restaurant is currently on hold and food menus are planned for the New Year 2026. Usually, 3 hand pulls weekdays with up to 6 at weekends.
