Busy, well-appointed and popular estate style pub, built by Lees in 1961. The pub boasts a large lounge, function room, a separate public bar and a newly refurbished outside drinking area. Seasonal beers are always sold along with other beers from the Lees permanent range from time to time. Food is home cooked and hearty and parties are catered for. Live football is a big attraction with the locals and there is live music once a month. Buses to Middleton and Oldham pass the pub for onward travel.
