This neat little pub nestles among a number of farms along an unmade, potholed lane. A one mile walk from either the Royton or Middleton end rewards the drinker with a main bar and lounge area with a separate quiet side room. A walled rear beer garden and benches to the front and side provide outdoor seating. Popular with walkers, farmers and locals, dogs are very welcome. No food.
