Trip by public transport for a circular walking tour of Preston city centre, taking in 7 GBG pubs and possibly a couple other GBG "near misses". Preston is easily accessible by train and the first pub, the Old Vic (GBG) is at the top of the station approach. to the right on Fishergate. Meet at 12 Noon. After that the Plug and Taps*, Plau*, Friargate Tap House, Black Horse*, Market Tavern, Orchard*, Guild Ale House* and Winkley St Ale House*. * = GBG

Suggest the 10;21 off Rochdale (10:01 off Victoria) to Blackburn, change to the following Preston/Blackpool train at Burnley Manchester Road as the services via Victoria and Bolton are rail replacement buses. Services from Piccadilly to Preston are not affected.
