Cotton Tree96 Ashton Road East
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Situated close to the Roman Road connecting Manchester to Oldham, the pub was originally a row of cottages back in 1843. It is now a popular community local and whilst open plan, it still feels like three separate rooms, served by one long bar. Run by a couple of long-time regulars, the pub has been nicely refurbished internally and photographs of Failsworth, taken by a local artist adorn the walls. There is a fenced table area to the front and the walled beer garden features an ample, heated, smoking shelter, overlooked by a towering pear tree. Wednesday is Quiz Night, Thursday Poker Night. Off road car parking is available, by the side, accessed via James St, then Windsor St.
