The King Bill, as it is known as, is a busy country pub that offers convenient opening hours and is very popular when live football is shown on the television. Stone built pub offering 6 real ales and food is available Wednesday to Sunday. The bar is located centrally with two rooms, one of which has a wood burning stove. The cobbled outdoor patio is a pleasant drinking and smoking area with heaters and a retractable awning for cover. Monday evening is Quiz night with free supper and cash prizes. Large car park to the rear is ideal as a base for walkers to enjoy the Saddleworth countryside. Saddleworth Rushcart Festival and Whit Friday Band Contest feature heavily in the summer.
